NewHeart™ is selected to yield up to 75% heartwood from newly harvested, cold-season, shortleaf, native Missouri yellow pine from the Mark Twain National Forest. Knots are tight, dark brown and range from ¼” to 3” in diameter.

SugarPine™ is selected to yield up to 50% heartwood from newly harvested, old-growth, cold-season, NELMA certified eastern white pine. Knots are sound, redish-tan and range from ¼” to 5” in diameter. This is really beautiful material and makes a very pleasant floor that ages wonderfully.
Special order up to 20" Historic™ SugarPine™ add another $2 per sq. ft. for 18" and 20" material.

Rice Mill™ Reclaimed Heart Pine is milled from pine timbers reclaimed from structures such as rice mills and storehouses from the mid to late 19th century from South Carolina. Occasional nail, bolt and worm holes can be present as well as random, tight knots with a rich brownish red color.

Charleston™ Heart Pine is milled from trees logged from ecologically managed forests in South Carolina that average 100-150 years old. Material is selected to yield up to 90% heartwood and contain tight knots from ¼” to 2” in diameter.

S1 = contains select and #1 grade / MR = mill run containing all grades / RQ = rift and quartered meaning it contains vertical graining throughout.
*All the above Installed Pricing includes choice of stain color and two coats of HFC’s exclusive Antique Matte™ high-traffic polyurethane finish to replicate the look and sheen of an old-fashioned, antique, oil-rubbed finish. The floors that we install at HFC come with a 10-year wear-through warranty on the Antique Matte finish. In other words, if you wear through your floors from normal foot-traffic, we will coat this area for free.
