Ready Finish Series

Ready Finish SeriesAt Historic Floor Company, our Ready Finished Series of hardwood flooring allows you, the customer to literally design your own hardwood floor. We’re kind of like the “Build-A-Bear®” of hardwood flooring in the sense that you can make your floor unique to just you. This original approach to create-you-own hardwood flooring was birthed by our most discriminating customers and the unique ability to integrate Historic Floors exclusive Surface Treatment Options to the wood of your choice—making each and every floor unique. No two floors are ever the same since everyone’s taste in design varies. That’s how we differentiate our product to you. You design it, not us. It gives you, the customer the “keys” to drive design in the direction you want to take it.

Just pick your wood, pick your Surface Treatments, pick your color and pick your finish. That’s how simple it is to create flooring that captures your personality. You start by picking from our extensive line of wood flooring that include our Heritage™ Hickory, White Oak, Red Oak, Cherry, Walnut, Sedona™Cedar, SugarPine™ (New England White Pine), Olde World™Red Oak, NewHeart™ Yellow Pine (native Short Leaf Pine from the Mark Twain National Forest), Delta™Pine, Charleston™Antique Heart Pine, RiceMill™Reclaimed Heart pine, Antique Cypress, Cypress and our exotics.

Now mix, match and overlay as many Surface Treatment Options as you want. Whether its blackened edges, wire brushed grain, adding worm holes or distressing, it’s your call. Now select your choice of wood stain to fit the color you are passionate about. And lastly, pick the type of Historic Antique Polyurethane finish that will be applied to create a antique semi-gloss, antique satin, antique matte or antique flat finish.

It’s no accident that our wide plank hardwoods, mixed with our unique Surface Treatment Options and Antique Polyurethane finishes would win us national acclaim from Early American Life Magazine back in 2005. This process results in the most unique type of hybrid flooring in the industry today. From lofts, to apartments, to traditional homes, a Historic Floor is NOT what we have, but, rather what YOU want as the customer. You design it and we build it… one plank at a time. Nothing we produce is “off the shelf”, but, rather designed by YOU. If you can dream it, we can build it.

Wood is a natural flooring material that inherently contains distinctive differences in grain and color configurations. These subtle differences that occur in nature create the beauty, warmth and individuality of each Historic™ floor. The room scenes and photography on this site are intended as a visual guide, as your Historic™ floor may vary in actual color or grain pattern.
