Inspired by the lofts of early New York City oyster cellars, this 3/4” solid Historic Oak hardwood is reminiscent of the time-worm floors that established the Hudson Bay Region. This 5” wide plank, hand-scraped material reflects the process of “smoothing” or “scraping” the floor using steel rule or the adz to keep the floor planks from having a sharp edge when butted together after installation. These floors are pre-finished with a low satin-matte, commercial finish that stand up to the toughest foot-traffic for either home or work environments.
